Placed at the foot of Conturines and La Varella, San Cassiano boasts a long tourist tradition and as years go by this charming village has succeeded letting tourism, respect of the environment and preservation of Ladin culture live together.

The village is the destination for many hikers and climbers, who dare the faces of Conturines, La Varella, Settsass and Lagazuoi. It’s well equipped for winter sports, particularly Nordic ski which is practised in the charming Armentarola dell.

San Cassiano belongs to Badia administration and is placed on the southern side of the natural park Fanes-Senes-Braies.
