After being at home with our children on our farm since 1998, I rcltneey returned to the work force. Customer service is sadly becoming a lost art. No matter what job you are in, the customer (and your fellow staff) must be treated with respect. Be truthful in all things. Ask questions when you don't understand something or are unclear don't guess. Don't bring your problems to work. Always be kind and strive to understand your job in context of the entire business as much as you can. If you don't enjoy your job, keep it to yourself and look for something else that you may have more interest/passion for. These skills you've listed will carry you through to any job, even if it is a new field like I rcltneey began in. Without the basics, you don't have anything to build upon.
