The ideal district to discover the Dolomites

The skiing area of Alta Badia is part of the Dolomites Superski and it results among the most well-equipped districts of Italy as a whole. It offers to the visitors a number of 130 km slopes, prepared and maintained with attention in order to guarantee skiing on slopes in the optimal conditions, in every single aspect. The view you will be able to enjoy, making use of the 52 ski facilities of the Alta Badia, spread along five villages, are very different among them and of an exceptional natural value.

At a close contact with the Dolomites, between the 1324 and 2778 m a.s.l., you can ski with the Sas dla Crusc just a few steps away, tackle unforgettable descents on the slopes of the "Boè", coasting the Sella Group, reaching the Gardena Pass and the Campolongo Pass, but also the Falzarego or reaching the piz Sorega, Piz La Ila, Col Alto, Col Pradat with last generation facilities. The district totally connects, through numerous ski lifts, all the slopes from Badia to Colfosco. The modern ski lifts allow you to have fun avoiding the queues and overcrowding thanks to the payload of 84.500 people every hour.

From Alta Badia it is possible to have access to the Sella Ronda, the famous skiing tour that surrounds the Sella Group passing through the four valleys of Ladinia, and to the Skitour of the Great War. The district of Alta Badia goes beyond skiing and snowboarding, and offers you therefore the number of 40 km of cross-country skiing slopes in San Cassiano (localty Saré/Armentarola) and between Corvara and Colfosco, four sledding slopes (at Badia, San Cassiano and Corvara) and two ice-skating slopes at Lech of Sompunt and in Corvara. The different ski-schools and the renting centres are equipped with qualified personnel and with always up-to-date supplies; finally the traditional mountain dews are numerous.
